500cc whole milk
the zest of one lemon
a little bit of salt
200g cherries (pitted)
1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
2. Put the milk in a saucepan with the lemon zest and heat it without allowing to boil.
3. Mix the flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. Add the eggs and mix well. Then add the milk and mix again.
4. Grease a round baking dish and put the cherries in it. Put the dough in the spaces between the cherries. Put some dough upon it and 'rearrange' the cherries.5. Bake for about 45 minutes until lightly browned.
